Biographical Info I am an integrative functional medicine doctor and human potential teacher specializing in mental wellbeing and healthy longevity. At the core of my work is teaching people how to master their mind and live 100+ healthy years. My published books include The Mind-Body Bible, Holistic Health Secrets for Women, and True Happiness - Your Complete Guide to Emotional Health. In addition to teaching, consulting and coaching, I am medical director of the Canadian neurotech company Sens.ai, co-founder of Optimal Mind International and founder of Human Potential Academy. www.humanpotentialacademy.io In the early stage of my integrative medicine career, I co-founded Europe’s first professional training program in integrative medicine, served as Chairman of the British Society for Integrated Medicine, and was Vice President of the Complementary Medical Association. I was voted UK's Health Journalist of the Year during this time. My approach to health is grounded in my own personal healing journey and my belief that true health needs to be integral—holistic, personalised, proactive and root cause oriented. Beyond my allopathic medicine training, the core areas I subsequently trained in included functional and integrative medicine, breathwork, meditation, neurofeedback, somatics, bioenergetics, acceptance and commitment training, psychedelic medicine, executive coaching, and human development. I am a Fellow of the American Institute of Stress, the Royal Society for Public Health, and the Association for Coaching. Additionally, I am a GMC Registered Medical Doctor, an Accredited Master Coach with the Association for Coaching, a member of The Institute for Functional Medicine, and a member of the International Society of Psychoneuroendocrinology.
